Aunt Anu, Andrew and Evan and families, I send my sympathy your way. Elizabeth sent an email notifying us of Uncle John's passing. I'm so appreciative that she did. I'm glad I was able to reconnect with Uncle John in the fall of 2008. We had a very nice time together and we discussed our genealogy which was most interesting. He had a lot of good stories to tell me about the Stewart line. Plus he shared some of his pictures that I had never seen before of he and his father. He also showed me the family bible that had many dates of marriages and births. I remember distinctly that at the very time of our visit he received a phone call from his stockbroker. It was at the time when the market was crashing. I could see in his eyes that this was causing him great concern and rightly so. He treated my husband and me to a very fine dinner at one of his favorite steak restaurants. He insisted that I drink a bottle of Perrier which I'd never had before. He commented that it was very smooth and I definitely agreed. He and Anu treated us with great hospitality and we even stayed the night at their lovely home. I will always have fond memories of our visit together. It makes me realize that it's important to stay in touch with relatives. May God bless you with many much comfort over the next while. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. Love your niece and cousin Shauna
